Here you can find a short abstract of the lab:
Intending to prepare students for their transition from university to the workplace, the lab highlights the crucial role of Emotional and Social Competencies in today’s labour market.
During the morning session, participants will gain insights into expectations for the work environment, as well as data on emerging needs and aspirations within the workforce. The lab will provide an overview of the nature of Emotional and Social Competencies and their pivotal role in fostering effective professional performance.
During the afternoon session, the lab will explore how to build a professional profile that showcases participants’ Emotional and Social Competencies. Finally, the lab will examine how the selection process works, offering practical strategies for successfully navigating the job search and improving candidates’ performance throughout the recruiting process.
The International College offers (at no cost) 9 places, for 1 student from each Honours School, at the College residence at Camplus Santa Marta.
The activity corresponds to 1 ECTS credit, is associated with a specific disciplinary sector, and includes a final exam graded on a thirty-point scale. Upon completion, the College issues a certificate of attendance and the earned evaluation.
The course will be conducted in English (B2 level required).
Only 1 student per school may attend, selected and authorized by their respective school. Priority is given to those intending to complete the entire course and take the final exam, though auditors are welcome.
