Nel quadro di collaborazione all’interno del sistema delle dieci Scuole Superiori Universitarie, il Collegio Internazionale Ca’ Foscari è lieto di invitare gli allievi delle Scuole ai due giorni del Brilliant Failures Lab previsti per i prossimi 5 e 6 dicembre.
Si tratta di un'iniziativa che coinvolge attivamente gli studenti delle Scuole su un tema cruciale e trasversale: sperimentare e imparare dal/dai fallimento/i.Il Lab del 5 prevede una giornata intera di lavoro di gruppo riservati agli studenti delle Scuole; la mattina del 6 ci sarà un evento aperto a tutto l'Ateneo che prevede anche la presentazione degli esiti della giornata precedente.
Il Collegio può offrire ospitalità agli studenti come sotto indicato.
Dear Students,
Within the framework of collaboration among the ten Italian Honours Schools, the Director of the Ca’ Foscari International College, Prof. Marco Li Calzi, is pleased to invite you to the second edition of the LAB on BRILLIANT FAILURE(S), which will take place on 5 and 6 December 2024 at Camplus Santa Marta, Venice.
This year’s event will be led by Prof. Paul Iske (Institute for Brilliant Failures, The Netherlands; Institute of Information Sciences, Stellenbosch University, South Africa) and Prof. Piero Martin (University of Padua, Dept. of Physics and Astronomy; Centro Linceo Interdisciplinare “B. Segre”; Ca’ Foscari International College).
This initiative actively involves students from the ten Honours Schools on a crucial and cross-cutting theme: experimenting and learning from failure(s).
Thursday, December 5th, 2024 – Sala Video Fondaco, Camplus Santa Marta
BRILLIANT FAILURE LAB
Experiment and learn for (brilliant) failures
Intensive seminar and group works, from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
This session is reserved for students from the Honours Schools.
Friday, December 6th, 2024 – Auditorium S. Marta, Camplus Santa Marta
FAILURE + SCIENCE = BRILLIANT!
From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon).
This session is open to the entire University community and includes the presentation of the outcomes from the previous day.
We will consider your applications on the basis of the chronological order of arrival.
The lab is taught in English (B2 level is required) and corresponds to 2 CFU. At the end of the activity, the College issues a certificate of attendance.
